About Kim Dalzell

MANY YEARS AGO, Kim Dalzell, PhD, RD, received a late-night phone call from her sister-in-law, who had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She asked Kim what kinds of foods might “feed her cancer.” That night, Kim realized that many cancer-concerned individuals don’t have access to reliable nutrition information, and even if they did, they were only getting generalized information. So, she became one of the first dietitians to develop cell-specific cancer-fighting protocols. But the time it took to create an individualized plan that included genetic mutations, microbiome considerations, and cancer cell type-specific information was labor-intensive for her and costly for the client. She knew that she needed to find a better solution so she could help more people. Kim also knew that connection and community are just as important as nutrition for healing and being whole.

For the past 25 years, Kim has helped clients speed-dial past a place of overwhelm and confusion to that of clarity and effective action. Packaged in a way that makes the information doable and affordable for virtually everyone, she delivers fingerprint information that cancer thrivers are desperate for, in an easy-to-follow format that provides immediate confidence about what to eat based on cancer cell type. And she wraps it all up with a bit of humor and inspiration.

In collaboration with other oncology nutrition professionals, Kim founded Cancer Nutrition IQ to remove the nutrition-related obstacles that challenge most cancer-concerned people. The Personalized Plan we offer is affordable, practical, science-based, and will support you on an intellectual and emotional level so you can effectively prevent or fight cancer, relax, and get back to living.

As an international speaker and consultant on cancer and nutrition, Kim has worked tirelessly and exclusively with cancer-concerned individuals and empowered thousands who have been told, “get your affairs in order.” She developed and ran Holistic Nutrition Counseling Services for Cancer Treatment Centers of America and contributed to Breast Cancer Wellness magazine, Cure, Coping, Myeloma Today, The Chicago Tribune, D Magazine, and The Ireland Report, as well as many other publications. She is a national and international speaker, having earned membership in the prestigious National Speakers Association. She served on the advisory board for Singapore-based, CancerStory.com, TESSA, and other non-profit US-based organizations like Taking Control of Your Cancer and Friends Together. She owns a publishing and nutrition consultant company (NutriQuest, Inc), has written several books, and served as a dietary supplement industry spokesperson for international businesses like Asahi Elles (Tokyo), EuroRSCG Magnet, The Juice Plus+ Company, and US-based companies like Millennium Biotechnologies and Cancer Nutrition Centers of America. She has been featured in radio, television, and podcasts.

Over the years, Kim has been celebrating the fact that her clients are thriving beyond their prognosis. She has always said, “You don’t have an expiration date stamped on your forehead. Give your body what it needs to heal, and it can heal!”

Now, with Cancer Nutrition IQ, everyone can be smarter when it comes to fighting cancer with nutrition. Because everyone deserves a beautiful life.
